Clyde McKinnon, age 56, of Alma passed away Wednesday, June 10th at the Hospice House in Waycross after a short illness. He was a native of Homerville but had lived in Alma most of his life. Clyde was son of the late Emory Lee McKinnon and Carrie Smith McKinnon and preceded in death two brothers, John Edward McKinnon and Otis McKinnon and 7 nephews and 3 nieces.

Survivors include three brothers, Emory Lee McKinnon, Jr. (Cynthia Amponsah) of Waycross, Willie Lee McKinnon (Yolonda) of Alma and Henry Lee McKinnon (Eleana) of Alma, five sisters, Hattie Mae Fuller (Claude), Gloria Ann McKinnon, Gloria Jean McKinnon and Vernell Moore (Jackie) all of Alma and Daisy Hodges of Brunswick.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 14th at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Michael Murray, Clinton Denniss Moore, Jr., Chase Peacock, Michael Thomas, Ashdon Crawford and Jordan Thomas. Honorary pallbearers will be; Chad Thomas and all others in attendance.
