Obituary

Clydie Mae Taylor, age 90, of Alma passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Twin Oaks Nursing Home after an extended illness. She was born on December 3, 1928 to Archie Music and Maddie Cothern Music in Coffee County.

She was preceded in death by her husband Carlie Taylor, sons, Carlie Jurell Taylor, Edward Jerome Taylor, brothers Edgar, Lloyd, Leroy and Gene Music, five sisters Ivey Lee Taylor, Lola Worth, Lois Music, Willa Mae Rewis and Shirley Clements. Survivors include eight children John Steven Taylor (Tammy), Tommy Parnell Taylor (Louise), James Eddie Taylor (Michelle), Latrelle Dixon of Alma, Lataine Parlor (Anthony) of Baxley, Carolyn Jean Taylor of Hazlehurst, Brenda Sue Bracewell (Edward) of Baxley and Rita Gritzke (Mark) of Alma, sister Ruth Paul of Wadley, GA., 19 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 10th at 11:00 AM at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. T. F. Yawn officiating.

Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
