Colleen Holton Yawn, age 81, formerly of Alma passed away on July 13, 2019 at Lumber City Nursing & Rehab after an extended illness. Daughter of the Theodore Lafatte Holton and Thelma Lucile White Holton born on July 29, 1937 in Bacon County. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilbert Yawn, son Joseph Yawn, brother J.B. Holton and sister Kaye Bodie

Survivors include a daughter, Wanda Douglas of Cordele, GA, brothers, Thomas L. Holton (Geraldine), Dwyane Q. Holton ob Alma, sister Lelia Holton Carter of Hazlehurst, GA, 4 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 21 ^st at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Dwayne Holton officiating. Interment will follow in Douglas Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral Sunday from 12:00 PM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be; Lee Yawn, Brandon Yawn, Mac Carter, Matt Holton, Paul Wade and David Garlock. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
