Colline White, age 93, of Alma passed away Tuesday, October 29th at the Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Waycross after a short illness. She was a native of Bacon County and daughter of the late Quitman Carris Johnson and Etta Colline Peacock. Colline was precede in death by her husband, Claude Daniel White, son, John Daniel White, brother, James Johnson and 4 sisters, Zilphia Carter, Shelia Allen, Nancy White and Dollie Turner. She was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, William White (Sharon) of Griffin, GA and Donnie White (Betty) of Blackshear, four daughters, Etta Bowie (Rodney) of Connecticut, Claudine Morris of Mershon, Peggy Cooper of Griffin, GA. and Patsy Lanier (Billy) of Waycross, one daughter-in-law, Verdia White of Blackshear and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 1st at 11:00 from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Golden officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Mathew, Phillip, Donnie & Jared White, Ricky Cooper, Billy Lanier and Ben Morris. Honorary pallbearers will be; Staff of Pierce County Nursing Home and all others in attendance.
