Connie Jean Thomas, age 71, passed away at Hospice House Satilla November 08, 2025, after an extended illness. She was born April 26, 1954, in Fort Worth, TX to the late Herbert Potts and Jean Dixon Edwards. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her stepfather, Jimmie Edwards; brothers, Dan Richard Edwards and Walter David Potts; sister, Brenda Edwards.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Walter Thomas, Jr.; daughters, Lisa Anderson (Joey) of Alma and Beverly Graham (Johnnie) of Fitzgerald; six grandchildren, Logan Curl, Layton Cothern, Lexis Nugent, Haleigh Phillips (Ross), Hannah Kimmons (Clay), and Hance Anderson; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Jim Edwards of Jacksonville, FL and Herbert Michael Potts; sister, Elaine Beckman (Bob) of Colorado.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
