Craig Tyre, age 64, of Las Vegas passed away Wednesday, April 8th at Optim Medical Center in Reidsville, Georgia. He was a native of Bacon County but had lived in Las Vegas for many years moving to Reidsville a month ago. Craig was son of the late Warren and Dorothy Anderson Tyre and preceded in death by his grandparents, Dewey and Lucy Phillips Anderson. Craig served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his sister, Elaine Tyre Huffines (Bob) of Tullahoma, TN., brother, Gary Tyre of Vidalia, GA, aunt, Joyce Douglas of Alma, an uncle, Glenn Anderson (Pat Brown Anderson) of Texas, cousins, Brenda Holton Phillips of Hawthorne, FL, Kay Holton Woods of Reidsville, GA, Randy Holton (Carol), Tina Douglas Herman (Butch) and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Monday, April 13th at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Tyre officiating.

Donations can be made to A Soldier's Child Foundation, Wounded Warrior Project, or a charity of your choice.
