Obituary
Crystal Boatright Kirkland, age 35, of Douglas passed away in the Coffee Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, July 8th 2014. She was a native of Bacon County and daughter of the late John L. Boatright, Jr. Crystal was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, C.L. & Mildred Coley Waters and paternal grandparents, John L. Boatright, Sr. & Mildred Westberry Boatright.
Survivors include her husband, Anthony Kirkland of Douglas, mother Margaret Waters Boatright of Alma, a son, Hunter Taylor of Alma, two brothers, Mike Boatright (Lisa) of Brunswick and Mark Boatright (Vickie) of Alma, three stepdaughters, Macy, Ciara and Alona Kirkland all of Marietta and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 12th at 4:00 PM at Southside Church of God with Rev. Mark Carver and Rev. Danny Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Southside Church of God Saturday from 2:00 PM until funeral time.
Active pallbearers will be; Christopher Medders, Greg & Kelly Lightsey, Jonathan Medders, Marty Medders, Jeff Matthies, Mike & Mark Boatright. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
