Curtis Bill Hardwick, age 58, passed away suddenly at his residence in Bacon County on November 01, 2025. He was born December 22, 1967, in Jeff Davis to Ray Hardwick and Lucy Lord Hardwick. He is preceded in death by his father, Ray Hardwick; brother, Marvin "Beaver" Hardwick and sister, Kitty Reynolds.

He was a long-time member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Alma. He served the Bacon County Sheriff's office with pride for many years serving as a special deputy. He patrolled the streets of Alma on his bike daily.

He is survived by his mother, Lucy Willene Hardwick, his sister, Charlotte Waters (Ted) of Blackshear, and his nephew, Dusty Waters (Emily).

Funeral services will be held Wednesday November 05, 2025, in the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home at 11 A.M. with Rev. R.B.Gaskins officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 10 A.M until service time.

Active pallbearers will include deputies of the Bacon County Sheriff's office.

All in attendance will be considered honorary pallbearers.
