Dakota Tyler Greer, age 26, of Nicholls passed away suddenly on Friday, June 24, 2022 at the Bacon County Hospital. He was a native of Coffee County and preceded in death by his brother Vincent Greer.

Survivors include his parents, Jeffery Greer and Betty Martin Greer; son, Richard Walker Greer; sister, Marlay and Ricky Carter; step-brother, Aki Brown and niece and nephew, Karolynn and Owen Carter.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 29 ^th at the funeral home from 6 to 9 PM. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 30 ^th at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Bishop R. B. Gaskins, Rev. Roger Carter and Rev. Kevin Tanner officiating. Interment will follow at Moore Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be; Joe Davis, Mitchell Kelly, Tyler Mercer, Abram Nolan, Daniel Youngblood and Christopher Carter. Honorary pallbearers will be; Chase Perkins, Justin-Blake Taylor, Jade Durrance, Rosie Jewell, Summer Hersey and the Coffee County Class of 2014.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
