Danette Rigdon, age 71 of Alma passed away May 25, 2022 at the Bacon County Hospital after a extended illness. She was born in Jeff Davis County on January 20, 1951 to U. V. "Bud' Rigdon and Phyllis Carter Rigdon.

Survivors include her brother, Mitchel Rigdon and wife Nancy and nieces, Lauris Mullis and husband Marty and Lindsey Music and husband Chris of Alma and three great nephews and nieces, Sawyer Kate Mullis, Hinson Music and Rigdon Music.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 28 ^th at Douglas Chapel Baptist Church from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Funeral services will follow immediately after with Ray Howard and Rev. Charles Hutcheson officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Level Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be; Marty Mullis, Chris Music, David Pryor, Ray Howard, Charles McCrea and Dewayne Thomas. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
