Daniel Wayne Lewis, age 77, of Alma passed away suddenly at the Bacon County Hospital after a short illness. He was born in Bacon County on August 13, 1943 to Clinton Lewis and Oletha Johnson Lewis. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Bernard Clinton Lewis and sister, Linda Gail Douglas.

Mr. Lewis is survived by three children, William Daniel Lewis of Douglas, GA., Cindy Michelle Lewis of Athens, GA. and Wendy Danielle Lewis of Brunswick, GA., brother, Benji Lewis and wife Sybil of Blackshear, GA., two sisters, JoAnn Lewis Taylor and husband Gerald of Blountsville, AL. and Cathy Lewis Lyon and husband Michael of Hartwell, GA. and two grandchildren.

A memorial services will be held Sunday, September 13 ^th at 2:00 PM at Rose Hill cemetery.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
