Dannie Edward Spivey, age 71, of Waycross passed away suddenly at Orange Park Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born August 21, 1952 in Bacon County to the late Ralph Spivey and Agnes Hutson Spivey.

Mr. Spivey was retired from the Air National Guard and was a member of Jordan Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gene Spivey and William Spivey and three sisters, Evelyn Smith, Ethel Haas and Lois Sellers. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Sylvia Courson Spivey of Waycross; three children, Blake Spivey (Sabrina) and Shana Harper (Clay) of Douglas and Leah Lee (Chris) of Vidalia; stepdaughter, Sandra Roberts (Lester) of Blackshear; special friends, Erica Fales, Jennifer Crews, Christy Coughnour and Ansleigh Barrett; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service with Military Honors will be Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Jordan Church.
