Danny Wade Douglas, age 55, of Alma died suddenly at his home Tuesday afternoon August 12th, 2014. He was a native of Bacon County, son of the late Hoyt Douglas and preceded in death by a sister Sandy Douglas.

Survivors include his mother, Cleo Taylor Douglas, two sons, Robert Douglas (Anna) and Randy Douglas (Dianna) all of Alma, four brothers, Van, Sidney and Andy Douglas all of Alma and Jimmy Douglas of Denton, GA, two grandchildren, Ethan and Maddison Douglas both of Alma.

Funeral services will be held Saturday August 16th, 2014 at 2:00 P M from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Edmund Thrift officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Level Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Friday evening between 6 and 9 P M.

Active pallbearers will be, Jimmy Hyers, Corey Mikel, Miguel Perez, Albon Steglla, Juan Carizales and Thorn Lee. All others in attendance will be considered as honorary pallbearers.
