Danny Carroll Thomas, age 39 of the Bickley Community passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Satilla Memorial Hospital in Waycross, GA.

Loving husband and father, beloved brother, avid hunter and fisherman, true friend. A carpenter by trade, Mr. Thomas was a former employee of Milliken, Nicholls IGA and Jay's IGA.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gail Youngblood Hooks; paternal grandfather Mikey Thomas; maternal grandfather Emmett Youngblood and maternal great-grandmother Earnie Dean Youngblood.

Survivors include, his wife Amy Wynee Courson Thomas, a son; Chase Lanier Thomas, four daughters; Marion Lexi Thomas, Leela Gail Thomas, Alivia Naomi Thomas, and Leanna Nicole Thomas.  His father; Daniel Lanier Thomas of Nicholls, step-father; Terry (Susanne) Hooks of Dawson. Grandparents; Ed and Linda Adams of Nicholls, Caroline and Mike Taylor of Dawson, two grandmothers, Joan Youngblood of Douglas and Mary Linnie Thomas of Nicholls, five brothers; Terry Hooks, Jr. of Dawson, Carlis Lee (Jessie) Youngblood, Jacob Lanier Thomas, and Jamie Clinton Thomas all of Nicholls, Justin Shane Thomas of Ambrose. Two sisters; Angel Nicole Thomas of Dawson and Jessica Lea Moore of Nicholls. Uncles;  Lee (Tammy) Youngblood of Nicholls, Billy (Amber) Youngblood of Dawson, Joseph (Kimberly Youngblood) Thomas of Alma, and David Thomas of Nicholls. Many special nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be Friday, April 6, 2018 from 6 to 9 pm at Crosby Funeral Home in Alma, graveside services will be held Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Meeks Cemetery in Nicholls at 11 am with the Rev. Felton Harden officiating.

Active pallbearers are Carlis Youngblood, Justin Thomas, Jacob Thomas, Patrick Williams, Terry Hooks, Jr. and Preston Courson. Honorary pallbearers include, Sherrie Courson, Daniel Youngblood, Joshua Rigby, Joseph Thomas, Linwood Owens, Doris Cantrell, Steve Thompson, Ed Adams, Eric Nicholls, Steve Aston, Dewitt Courson, Brian Courson, Mitchell Courson, Glen Courson, Adam Courson and Bryan Owens.
