Danny William Douglas, age 54, of Alma died early Friday morning June 14th, 2013 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems of Waycross after a short illness. He was a native of Bacon County, son of the late Fred Maloy Douglas and Eula Johnston Douglas, was a bricklayer for many years and a member of Lee's Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Kayla Andrews (Bryan) of Alma, a step daughter, Kesha Fowler of Waycross, Kayla and Kesha's mother, Tracey Whitaker of Flagler Beach, FL, a brother, Don Douglas (Karen) of Alma, three sisters, Sandra Deen (Jimmy) of Alma, Sharon Byars (Gary) of Alma, Shirley Lipsey (Ron) of Adel) also three grandchildren survive.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 o'clock Monday June 17th at Lee's Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. R B Gaskin, Rev. Pet Hayes, a eulogy delivered by First Cousin, Jerald Douglas. The family will be receiving friends at the church at 10:00 o'clock Monday.
