David Lee Gray, 65, of Orlando Florida, passed away on August 12.

David was born on October 2, 1953 to Frank and Mark Gray. David was married to Christeen (Jarvis) Gray (granddaughter of Charlie and Lela Mae Mercer). They have 2 daughters: Michelle Maes (husband Christopher) and Teresa Behr (husband Josh). David and Christeen have 3 grandchildren: Dominick, Aralyn and Ethan. David is also survived by his mother Mary Gray, 3 brothers: Mark, Paul (wife Dot), Stephen (wife Roxanne) and one sister, Kathy.

David served 20 years in the US Air Force and worked in industry after USAF retirement. In 2005 David became a Deacon in the Catholic Church. David worked in the Catholic Diocese of Central Florida for 10 years and retired from that position in Jan 2019. David continued to live out his baptismal promise through serving and ministry at St. James Cathedral, Orlando, Florida after retirement. Additionally, David loved running and triathlons. He was a 2 times Ironman athlete and was training for his third. David radiated Gods love through all he met. He viewed the world through the eyes of Christ, seeing every person he encountered as a special creation of God.

Vigil service and Funeral Mass were held in Orlando last weekend. The gravesite service will be held Saturday, August 24 ^th at 10 AM at the Stewart Family Cemetery.
