Deborah Kay Shackelford, age 64 of Baxley passed away suddenly Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on April 29, 1953 to the late Elijah Sandlin, Jr. Her brother Kelly Sandlin preceded her in death.

Survivors include her mother, Frances Bowles Sandlin of Athol, Idaho, husband, Daniel Saunders of Hoboken, Ga., four children, Roger Dale Burgess, II of Indiana, Lucas Shackelford of Waycross, Ericka King (Mark) of Waycross and Lacey Shackelford (Khenzlei Walker) of Baxley, GA., three brothers, Greg Sandlin, Brad Sandlin and Mike Sandlin of Idaho, two sisters, Sherry Cripe (Michael) and Kelly Sue Sandlin of Idaho,; also 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Memorialization was by cremation.

Crosby Funeral was in charge of arrangements.
