Debra Ann Carter, age 49, of Alma passed away suddenly at her residence Friday, June 16, 2017. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida on July 8, 1967 to the late Clinton Maurice Carter. She was a member of New Vision Church.
Survivors include her mother, Shirley Laverne Harrison Carter of Alma, a son, Shawn Carter (Ashley) of Jacksonville, FL., two daughters, Ashley Nicole Carter and Leah Nicole Carter both of Alma, two grandchildren, Julia Allgary of Alma and Baby Carter; also several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 to 9 PM at Crosby Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 22nd at 11:00 AM at New Vision Church with Rev. Pet Hayes and Rev. Vic Peacock officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be; Allan Harrison, Clinton Bryant, Brandon Harrison, Ronnie Harrison, Wade Harrison, Austin Castaneda and Timmy Harrison. Honorary pallbearers will be; Alan Johnson Sunday School Class, Granny Aleatha Crosby and Karin Murphy.
