Debra Kay Deen, age 58, of Alma died at the Bacon County Hospital early Tuesday morning December 10, 2013 after an extended illness. She was a native of Coffee County but had lived in Bacon County the past 40 years. She was daughter of the late Cleo Spivey and Dorothy Bryant Spivey.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Donnie Vernon Deen of Alma, two sons, Scottie Vernon Deen and Andrew Jackson Deen, two brothers, Jerry Jerome Spivey, Terry Spivey all of Douglas, two sisters, Linda Carole Smith (Jerry) of Alma, Lisa Davis (Brad) of Douglas, two grandchildren, Kayla Deen of Yulee, FL, Ashley Deen of Silver Springs, FL and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service will be held Thursday at 4:00 P M at First Community Church with Dr. Dale Carver officiating.
