Debra Sears, age 52, passed away at Hospice House Satilla on December 3, 2020 after a short illness. She was born in Bacon County on February 7, 1968 to Rev. Lowell C. Lee and Patsy Hardrick Lee.

Debra was a School Teacher at the Bacon County Elementary School and was a member of Lee's Chapel Baptist Church.  She loved playing her piano, going to the beach, swimming in her pool and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Bobby Hue Sears, three daughters, Hanna Sears and fiancé Ethan Boatright, Haven Sears and Ashley Lee, brother, Peter Marshall Lee all of Nicholls and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Debra will be held Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Lee's Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Delk and Rev. Marty Anderson officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the church Sunday from 1:00 PM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be; Ethan Boatright, Spence Nobles, Matt, Jamie and Cary Holloway and Matthew Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be; All Bacon County Elementary School Staff and the Bacon County High School Class of 1986.

Flowers are welcome but there is also the option to donate to the Debra Sears Scholarship Fund in honor of a true Bacon County Educator at Pineland Bank.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
