Dessie Elaine Palmer, age 64, passed away May 12, 2025, after an extended illness. She is the daughter of the late John Riley Boatright and Faye Tillman Boatright. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Edsel, Jimbo, and Jerry Boatright; one sister, Raulette Waters.

She is survived by two sons, William Palmer (Kayla) and Christopher Palmer, both of Alma, GA. One brother, Ardel Boatright of Nicholls; two sisters, Dora Mae Boatright of Nicholls, GA and Sue Boatright of Summerville, SC. Five grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.

A memorial service will be held at Crosby Funeral Home Saturday, June 07, 2025, from 9:30- 11 AM. Interment to follow at Carters Chapel Cemetery with Rev Kathy Palmer officiating.
