Dixie Faye Douglas, age 90, of Alma passed away on August 2, 2022 at the Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness. She was a native of Bacon County and daughter of the late Herbert T. Douglas and Maggie Tanner Douglas. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert "Bud" Douglas and sister, Mary Lucy Tanner.

Survivors include a brother Terry Frank Douglas of Alma; two sisters, Molly Ruth Harris of Maryland and Sandra Johnny) Stewart of Calhoun.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 6 ^th at 11:00 AM at Douglas Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Hutcheson officiating. Interment will follow in the Douglas Family Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 10:00 AM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be: Jon Tanner, Ray Tanner, Shorty Sellers, Colin Sellers, Steven Thomas and Dale Douglas. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
