Donald H. Gilliard, age 76, of Nicholls died Wednesday April 18, 2018 at his home after an extended illness.  He was a native of Coffee County, son of the late James and Rudine Kirkland Gilliard.  Donald was a commercial truck driver, a farmer and a member of Dry Creek Baptist Church in Nicholls.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years Elaine McKuhen Gilliard of Nicholls, two sons Michael Gilliard (Melissa) of Nicholls, Tony Gilliard (Helen) of Nicholls, a sister Carole G. Gilliard (Reaford) of Byron, GA, five grandchildren Justin Gilliard, Tori Gilliard (Fiance Cory Foster), Amanda Gilliard, Amber Gilliard Miller (Joshua), Brooke Gilliard, a great grandson Riley Miller, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday April 21 ^st at 11:00 o'clock from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Campbell officiating.  Rev. David Davis will be conducting the committal service.  Interment will follow in Halls Cemetery in Nicholls.  The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Friday evening between 6 and 9 P M.

Active pallbearers will be Joshua Miller, Cory Foster, Justin Gilliard, Rick Gilliard, Clay Gilliard and Jason Gilliard.  All others in attendance will be considered as honorary.
