Donald "Son" Hall age 93, of Baxley passed away November 24, 2021at his residence after an extended illness. Born November 18, 1928 in Jeff Davis County but lived most of his life in Appling County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Irene McEachin Hall; Mike Reynolds Hall, Brian Reynolds and wife Lunette Hall.

Mr. Hall was Owner and Operator of Halls Food Store for many years and was a member of Zoar Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Donnie Hall Farmer and Modrey Hall Yawn of Hazlehurst; nieces and nephews, Joyce Eason (Vince), Wanda Rowland (Jerry), Jimmy Reynolds (Deborah), Larry Reynolds (Lou), Stan Reynolds (Ann); 3 great nieces and 5 great nephews; also a host of great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Zoar Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Wigley. Chris Nail will give personal eulogy. The family will be receiving friends at Zoar Baptist Church Tuesday evening from 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Lynn McEachin, David Earl Stone, Wayne Perry, Shawn Rowland, Derick and Jared Reynolds and Jamie Smith. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
