Donald John Rose, age 88, of Hazlehurst passed away at his residence on May 18, 2021after a short illness. Born in Ontario County, New York on March 1, 1933 to John Henry Rose and Frances Phalen Rose. His wife Patricia Lannon Rose preceded him in death.

He was highly educated and spent the majority of his career in the aviation industry.

Survivors include three children, John William Rose (Mary K.) of Gotha, FL., Kimberly R. Taylor (Jack M.) and Patricia R. Marks of Hazlehurst, GA.; eight grandchildren, Sarina Rose, Amanda Chesser, Travis Taylor, Zachary Taylor, Benjamin Taylor, Justin Marks, Jessica Maurtua and Jori Kauffman; 10 great-grandchildren and two special caregivers, Kimmie Lavender and Baylee Starling.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
