Donald H. Russ, age 79, of Nicholls, Georgia passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born May 9, 1941 in Coffee County to the late J. W. Russ and Vernell Harper Russ. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era and was retired from the Gilman Paper Mill in St. Marys, Georgia.

Survivors include his daughter, Thelma Lynn Adams (Jesse) of Waverly, Georgia and a sister, Betty Varnadore.

The family will hold a private memorial for Mr. Russ.
