Donnie Lavon Altman, age 68 of Alma, passed away at Bacon County Hospital on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 after a short illness. He was born in Alma, Georgia on November 06, 1950 to the late Titus Lavon Altman and Annie Gerene Sellers Altman. His sister, Sandra Altman Garcia preceded him in death.

Donnieis survived by his son, Rusty Altman, special friend, Gloris Ann Johnson, sister, Elizabeth Diane Trowell and two grandchildren, Talan Davis Altman & Ashlan Kirah Weldon all of Alma, Georgia.

Funeral service will be held at Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM with Rev. David Davis officiating.  Burial will follow in Big Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PMatCrosby Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers will be; Jimmy Lee, Hershel King, Jerry Boatright, Jerry Taylor, J. W. Swain and Benny Ray Carver. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.
