Donnie Lee Boatright, age 64, died suddenly at his residence on April 26, 2019. He was a native of Bacon County, a member of Carter's Chapel Church in Scuffletown, and the son of the late Clifton and Odell Carter Boatright.  A brother James Boatright also preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Alicia Palmer Boatright, sons Brad Boatright (Tracy) of Mt. Vernon and Dustin Boatright of Alma, a daughter Dana Boatright of Alma, sisters, Judy Hall (Cecil) of Alma, Brenda Boatright of Blackshear, Linda Gordon (Dudley) of Brunswick, and Debbie Marsh (George) of Patterson. 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild also survive.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 4 ^th , at Carters Chapel Church in Scuffletown beginning at 11 AM with Rev. R. B. Gaskins and Kathy Palmer officiating.
