Donnie Lee Joyce, age 86, of Douglas passed away Sunday, February 1st at her residence after an extended illness. She was a native of Newberry Florida but had moved to Coffee County 20 years ago from Plant City, FL. Donnie was daughter of the late George Luther Langford and Eva Lessie Davis Langford and preceded in death by her husband, Junior Edgar Joyce and a brother, Williard Langford. She was a member of the Light House Baptist Church and pianist for many years.

Survivors include two sons, Ermon Luther Joyce, Sr. of Douglas and Billy D. Joyce, Sr. (Trish) of Plant City, FL., two daughters, Peggy A. Swilley (Charles) and Marian E. Raymer (Mark) of Douglas, one sister, Grace McClamma of Plant City, FL.,
10 grand children, 17 great-grand children and 2 great-great grand children.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 4th at 2:00 PM at Providence Baptist Church with Rev. Rodney Courson and Rev. Tom Miss officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 1:00 PM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be; Dennis L. Hicks, Mark D. Hicks, Billy D. Joyce, Jr., Ermon L. Joyce, Jr., Michael D. Joyce and Christopher M. Joyce. Junior pallbearers will be; Logan B. Schultz and Billy D. Joyce, III.
