Doris "Buddy" Eugene Mikell, age 79, of Baxley passed away on November 29, 2020 at Memorial Health in Savannah. He was born on September 17, 1941 to L. M. MIkell and Delnoria Melton Mikell. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Sara Lee Mikell, daughters, Tammy and Terresa Mikell, brothers, Lewis and Edward Mikell and sisters, Lavern Deen and Evelyn Mikell. He was a member of Stepensville Baptist Church in Tellico Plains, Tennessee.

Survivors include three daughters, Nancy Gail Miller of Baxley, GA., Debbie Strickland Wright of South Carolina and Barbara Ann Goldwasser Joiner of Baxley, GA., two brothers, Joe Mikell and Tom Mikell of Alma, five grandchildren, Megan Farland, Austin Miller, Lee Cronan, Mamie Goldwasser and Tyler Wyatt and four great-grandchildren, Jacklynn Farland, Justin Farland, Jr., Mona Rai Leah Waters and Zane Lee Cronan.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 9th at 11:00 AM at Corinth Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. R. B. Gaskins and Bro. Danny Turner officiating.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
