Edith Faye Williams, age 71, of Alma passed away suddenly at Coffee Regional Medical Center on Sunday, April 28, 2019. She was born in Alma, Georgia on November 5, 1947 to the late Thomas E. Tanner and Samantha Tanner. Her husband  Waymon Williams, a son, Bradley Williams and a brother, Tommy Joe Tanner preceded her in death.

Survivors include three children, Rodney Williams (Christine) of Alma, Melissa Williams (Wayne) of Beech Grove, TN. and Audra Williams (John Murphy) of Douglas, GA., one brother, Greg Tanner, one sister, Joyce Whitacre both of Alma, 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 2 ^nd at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. R. B. Gaskins and Rev. John Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Wesley Chapel Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 PM.

Active pallbearers will be; Dusty Wade, Trent Wade, Hunter Murphy, James Whitacre, Brian Tanner, Kevin Foster and Chase Taylor. All others inattendance will be considered honorary escorts.
