Obituary
Edward Lee Deen, age 71, of Alma passed away suddenly Thursday, April 14th at the Bacon County Hospital. He was a native of Bacon County and son of the late Elbert Deen and Bessie McClellan Deen. Edward was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Deen, Jack Deen and James Elbert Deen.
Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Debra Daniels Deen of Alma, one son, Thomas Edward Deen of Franklin, IN., two daughters, Cynthia Owens (Travis) and Kimberly Deen both of Martinsville, IN., one brother, Troy "Bo" Deen of Hazlehurst, Ga., two grandchildren, Brittany Deen and Dillon Owens, one great grandchild Aleia Deen and a niece Morgan Perry.
A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, April 19th at Miles Chapel Church on 1744 Miles Chapel Church Road in Appling County from 6 to 8 PM. Eulogies will be given by friends and family.
Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
