Edward "Buster" Taylor, age 58, of Alma passed away suddenly Friday, November 29th at his residence after a short illness. He was a native of Bacon County and son of the late John Carlie Taylor and preceded in death by a brother, Jurelle Taylor.

Survivors include his mother, Clydie Mae Music Taylor of Alma, a son, Jamie Taylor of Alma, daughter, Halie Taylor of Louisa, KY, three brothers, John Steven Taylor (Casey), Tommy Parnel Taylor (Louise) and James Eddie Taylor (Michelle) of Alma, five sisters, Latrelle Dixon and Rita Gritzke (Mark) of Alma, Latane Parlor (Anthony) and Brenda Bracewell (Edward) of Baxley and Carolyn Taylor of Hazlehurst and two grandchildren, Garret and Mackenzie Taylor of Alma.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 7th at 2:00 PM at New Vision Church with Rev. Pet Hayes and Rev. Bryan Gunter officiating.
