Elaine Mann, age 76, of Alma passed away on June 29, 2022 at Memorial Health in Savannah after a short illness. She was born on March 9, 1946 in Bacon County to the late James Dwight Smart, Sr. and Eunice Dixie Sweat Smart. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Earl David Mann and sister, Sandra Smart Straley.

Mrs. Elaine was retired from the Bacon County Service Center and was a member of Southside Church of God.

Survivors include her grandson, David Anthony Mann and wife Deanna of Blackshear; great-grandson, Daxton Mann; brother James Smart, Jr. and wife Patsy of Alma; three sisters, JoAnn Wade and husband Donald and Reba Griffin of Alma and Kathy Davis of Waycross.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 2 ^nd at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Pastor David Deen officiating. Interment will follow in Corinth Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be; Harry Davis, Cleve Carter, Jeff Carter, Greg Griffin, Adam Smart and Erron Smart. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
