Eleanor Brown Knowles, age 79, of Kingsland passed away in her sleep early Friday February 7, 2020 at Community Hospice in Fernandina Beach, Florida.  She was a native of Bacon County and had been living with her daughter in Kingsland the past 9 months.  She was daughter of the late Albert Brown and Eva Mae Dyal Brown and was preceded in death by her husband Vernon L. Gunter, daughter, Pamela Gail Gunter, brother, Pete Brown and sister, Juanita Chesser.  Eleanor was a member of the Peoples Baptist Church of Folkston, Georgia

Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Lineberger (John) of Kingsland, GA., brother, Gene Brown (Debbie) of Bluffton, SC and a granddaughter, Amber O'Quinn (John) of Kingsland, GA.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 8 ^th at 3:00 PM at Rose Hill Cemetery with Pastor Nathan Irre officiating.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
