Ella Faye Bell, age 80, of Alma passed away at her residence on March 22, 2022 after an extended illness. She was born in Coffee County on September 19, 1941 to John Henry Butler and Loanza White Butler.  Mrs. Ella Faye was a member of Zion Chapel Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Vernon Lee Bell; brother, Henry Lee Butler and sisters, Lou Ella Kates and Bonnie Faye Strozier. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Jessie Bell, Jr.; four children, Jerome Bell, Jesse Owens, Cassandra Dorobantu and Charlotte Bell; brother, John Lewis Butler; sisters, Shirley Mobley and Doris Manley; also 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Crosby Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Zion Chapel Baptist Church 513 E. 14 ^th St. Alma, GA. with Pastor Jaylen Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
