Ellen Orene Hughes, age 77, of Alma, passed away Friday April 30,2021, at her residence after a short illness. She was a native of Bacon County and the daughter of the late O.K. and Pauline Tanner. Two husbands, Vernon Lee and Harold Randleman, son Ronald Jeff Rewis, and grandchildren Kelly Rewis and Lee Phillips, one great grandchild, Zaine Phillips also preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband Thomas Fulton Hughes Sr., daughters Teresa Phillips and Lisa Johnson (Timmy), sister Jan Benton, 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 nieces all of Alma.

Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, May 3 ^rd at 4pm at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. T.F. Yawn officiating.
