Ellis Delbert Williams, age 87, of Decatur, GA died Friday June 27th, 2014 at his home in Decatur after an extended illness. He was a native of Bacon County but had lived in Decatur since 1969. He was son of the late Ellis Williams and Bertha Wells Williams and was also preceded in death by a son, Terry Williams, daughter-in-law Shannon Knight Williams, a grandson, Austin Williams, two brothers, Ted and Carroll Williams, four sisters, Kathlene McCrea, Dorothy Carver, Elberta Crowder and Hazel Daniels. Delbert was retired from Ford Motor Dealership after 38 years of employment, was a member of Oak Hill Free Will Baptist Church and had served in the U S Navy.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Willene Taylor Williams of Decatur, two sons, Gary Williams (Linda) of Jacksonville, FL, Kevin Williams of Cumming, GA, four daughters, Sharon Lynch (Wayne) of Stockbridge, GA, Denise Hogan of Decatur, Gina Kimbrell and Michelle Honea both of Gainesville, GA, a brother, J M Williams Las Vegas, NV, a sister, Pawnee Moody of Jacksonville, FL, 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 11:00 o'clock from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Virgil Carter and Rev. J E Blanton officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Bacon County. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Sunday evening between 6 and 9 P M.

Active pallbearers will be, Roger Daniels, Freddy Daniels, Ricky Carver, Dwayne Carver, Buddy Honea, Ricky Steedly and Joe Taylor. Honorary will be members of the Oak Hill Free Will Baptist Church.
