Elmer Edward "Eddie" Jones, age 63, of Alma passed away on July 22, 2020 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born in Bacon County on October 4, 1956 to Elmer Jones and Lucille Ruis Wilbanks. Besides his father he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Neal Wilbanks. He was a member of Lee's Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors include his mother Lucille Ruis Wilbanks of Alma, his wife of 34 years, Pamela Williamson Jones of Alma, two daughters, Tiffany Douglas of Alma and Kelli Taylor (Scott) of Vidalia, two grandchildren, McKenna Douglas and Kaiden Gardner and five brothers, Pete Jones and wife Ramona of Waycross, Curtis Jones and wife Tabatha of Brunswick, Allen Wilbanks, Vincent Wilbanks and Brad Wilbanks of Alma.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 25 ^th at 11:00 at Lee's Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Delk and Rev. Monroe Gill officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will be receiving friends at the church from 10:00 AM until funeral time.

Active pallbearers will be; Scott Taylor, Joshua Thrift, Kevin Todd, Matt Williamson and Bryan Griffin.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
