Emmett L. Duncan, age 89, of Alma passed away March 2, 2026, at Satilla Hospice House after an extended illness. He was born May 19,1936 in Apalachicola, FL to James B. Duncan and Beulah Mae Blizzard Duncan.

Mr. Duncan was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Baxley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Russell Duncan, brother, James H. Duncan and sister, Pansy Attaway. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Sewell Duncan; two daughters, Belinda Mae Brown (Darrell) and Beverly-Kaye Hutching (Daryll); son, Terry James Duncan of Alma; three sisters, Patsy Mae Fisher, Peggy Cheshire and Pricilla Costine Peacock (Conrad); eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren and several great-great-great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 09, 2026, in the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home at 12 PM with Pastor James Jordan officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Lawn Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 11 AM until service time.

Active pallbearers include J.J. Peacock, Michael Tallent, Josh Harrington, Jonathan Jordan, Cain Flores, and Benjamin Walker. Oscar Gaitan will serve as honorary pallbearer.
