Etta J Wells, age 84, of Alma died Monday morning April 1, 2013 at the Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness. She was a native of Jeff Davis County but had lived most of her life in Bacon County. She was daughter of the late Stone Wall Jackson Wells and Daisy Horton Wells and was also preceded in death by a brother, Joe Wells, a sister, Beth Wells and a lifetime friend, Edward C. (Buster) Bennett.

Survivors include a brother, Roger Wells of Spartanburg, SC and a nephew, Jeff Wells and wife Nancy of Spartanburg, SC.

Graveside services will be held Thursday April 4th, at the Hazlehurst, Georgia City Cemetery at 1:00 o'clock with Rev. Glenn Rainey officiating.
