Eugene Carl "Butch" Herman, Jr. age 61, of Alma passed away suddenly July 13, 2023 at his residence.  He was born January 18, 1962 in Oakland County, Michigan to Eugene Carl Herman Sr. and Lydia Marie Kliemann Herman. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson, Mason Taft and sister, Patricia Vaughn.

Eugene served in the US Army during the Gulf War and Desert Storm.

Survivors include his wife, Tina Douglas Herman of Alma; two sons, Jerid Taft of Alma and Dustin Taft of Hawaii and one grandson, Gunnar Taft of Hawaii.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
