Eugene Lee, age 82, of Alma passed away Wednesday, January 21st at his residence after an extended illness. He was a native of Bacon County and son of the late Lemuel "Kit" Sellers Lee and Lourine Yawn Lee. Eugene was preceded in death by two sisters, Lucy Morris, Corrine Tucker and six brothers, Quincy, Taft, W.K., James, Grady and Pate Lee.

Survivors include a son, Lemuel Lee of Nicholls, daughter, Brenda Lovett (Stephen) of Waycross, the children's mother, Lavonne Vaughn of Alma, one brother, Franklin Lee of Alma and a sister, Mary Evelyn Hyers of Alma and a loving and caring caregiver, Delama Hampton of Alma.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 24th at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Lovett officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral at 1:00 PM until funeral time.

Honorary pallbearers will be; Amy, Lynn, Pat, Misty and all other Satilla Hospice employee's and Robyn Sweat.
