Eugenia  Jenkins "Jeanie" Gaskins, age 83of Mershon, passed away at Bacon County Hospitalon Wednesday,January 2, 2019 at the Bacon County Hospital after an extended illness.   She was born in Alma, Georgiaon September 17, 1935to Alton Haseldenand Eva Jones Haselden. Three brothers, Theron, Edd and Jones Haselden and two sisters, Myrtle Holland and Aurex Cauley preceded her in death. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years,Billy Gaskins of Mershon, GA., four children, Rev. R. B. Gaskins (Teresa) and Faye Miller (Carl) of Mershon, GA.,Gail Lowe (David) and Mary Ann Culbreath (Rick) of Jacksonville, FL., two brothers,Rogery Haselden and Don Haselden (Brenda) of Alma, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at Pine Lawn Cemetery onSaturday, January  5, 2019 at 11:00 AMwith Rev. R.B. Gaskinsand Rev. Donnie Mullis officiating.
