Eula Mae Lewis, age 91, of Alma passed away July 8, 2024 at Twin Oaks Nursing Home after an extended illness. She was born February 8, 1933 in Bacon County to the late Adrain Varnadore and Aline Yawn Varnadore. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Brady Lewis, Jr, daughter, Joyce Riddle; brother, Olin Varnadore and two sisters, Patsy Courson and Christine Salter.

Mrs. Eula was a member of Unity Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Roy Lewis (Gwen) two grandchildren, Andy Lewis (Melissa) and Adam Riddle (Shay); three great-grandchildren, Ethan, Ava and Ella Lewis; son-in-law, Richard Riddle; two sisters, Nina Bryant (Terry) and Brenda Rentz (Tony); brother-in-law, Ed Salter; sister-in-law, Virginia Hutcheson (Darrell) and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 12, 2024 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Salter and Pastor Donnie Mullis officiating. Interment will follow in Unity Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until service time.

Active pallbearers will be Andy Lewis, Ethan Lewis, Adam Riddle, Craig Hutcheson, Derek Hutcheson and David Lasseter. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
