Eva Thomas Morey, age 89, passed away December 06, 2025, after an extended illness. She was born in Coffee County June 01,1936, to the late Ashley Adams and Molly Thomas Tanner. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Paul O. Guarino and her brother, Charles Tanner.

She was a member of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her sons, John Daniel Higgins (Christa) of Maxville, FL and Charles Richard Higgins of San Diego, CA; daughter, Rhonda Free of Atlanta, GA; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 2 PM at Wolf Pit Church Cemetery with Chaplain Tracy Tucker officiating.
