Eva Mae Osborne, 65, Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on January 21, 2026.

Eva was born in Covington, Georgia on July 7, 1960, grew up in a military family and traveled widely as she grew up but lived most of her adult life in McDuffie County. She was a homemaker and was Baptist by faith and a member of Second Baptist Church. Eva loved meeting people, enjoyed gospel music and especially loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Mattie Green, and Eva's survivors include her sons, Jim Powell and David Brown; her brother, Willie Green, Jr. and sisters, Becky Green and Darlene Westray.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Road, Thomson, Georgia. Her Funeral Service, being officiated by Rev. Jim Martin, will follow in the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 p.m., with the Interment being held at Westview Cemetery, Thomson, Georgia following the service. Pallbearers for the service are Scott Huff, J. B. Williams, Ricky Kendrick, Phillip Kendrick, Scott Hodgins and Willie Green.
