Mrs. Evelyn Virginia "Ginner" Dubberly, age 87 formerly of Dothan, Alabama passed away on Thursday (September 29, 2022). She was born on March 2, 1935 in Pierce County to the late Claude Milton Wade and Theressa Moore Wade. Mrs. Virginia lived in Alma, Waycross and Moultrie before moving to Dothan, Alabama in 1971.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Leroy Dubberly, grandson, Matthew Wade Dubberly and two brothers, James A. "Bud" Wade and Danny Claude Wade.  Survivors include three sons, Steve Dubberly (Karen Walker) of Alma, Georgia, Wayne Dubberly ((June Corbin) of Geneva Alabama and Scott Dubberly (Shelia) of Dothan, Alabama; two brothers, Kenny Wade and Dorsey Wade (Glenise) of Alma; one sister, Jan O'Steen (Marcus) of Alma; 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday (October 2, 2022) at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. Parnell Aldridge officiating.  The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until service time. Interment will follow in Corinth Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be; Stephen Dubberly, Bradley Dubberly, Keith Wade, Ken Wade, Milton Wade, Charles Shepard, Jimmy Wade, Jeff Wade, and Clay Wade. All others in attendance will be considered honorary escorts.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
