Floyd Wesley Jackson, age 79, of Nicholls passed away on August 29, 2020 at the home of his daughter after an extended illness. He was born in Ware County on April 6, 1941 to Harold Jackson and Joy Moore Jackson. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, John R. Jackson and a grandson, Wesley Jackson.

Mr. Jackson served in the US Air Force and was a member of Bickley Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Linda Varnadore Jackson of Nicholls, one son, Joseph Mark Jackson (Melba Lee Jackson), two daughters, Marcenia Banach (John) and Anita Anderson (John) of Bickley, one sister, Wanda Roth of Waycross, 5 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 1 ^st at 11:00 AM at Victory Chapel Baptist Church in Bickley with Rev. Adam Henderson and Rev. Randy Cox officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 10:00 AM until funeral time.

Cremation will follow the funeral service.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
