Frances Wade, age 81, passed away February 23, 2022 at her residence after an extended illness. Born in Bacon County on January 14, 1941 to Walter B. Rigby and Ona Mae Bagley Tanner. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by husband, Virgil Franklin Wade; brothers, Gerald Rigby and Riley Rigby and sisters, Geraldine Taylor and Mary Ann Rigby. Mrs. Frances was a member of Corinth Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include three children, Marty Wade, Mary Winn (Jasper) and Marshall Wade (Nina); brothers, Carl Rigby (Florence), Larry Rigby (Wanda), Roger Rigby (Pat), Donnie Rigby (Lisa) and Tony Rigby (Scheryl); sisters, Linda Medders (Gary), Debra Lee (Gordon), Judy Anderson (Michael) and Angie Rigby (Roger Davis); 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 27, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Corinth Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Stevie Hughes and Rev. Parnell Aldridge officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Sunday from 1:00 PM until funeral time. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be; Eric Booth, David Booth, Levi Wright, Ray Newberry, Chris Martin and Timothy Merritt.

Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
